Itineration ❄️
We have had the joy of visiting with some local churches to kick-off the new year. Early January we shared at Morning Hour Chapel, the church I grew up in from the age of 4 until I moved to Missouri for Bible School at the age of 18.
It's always an encouragement to share with and have the opportunity to reconnect with friends who knew you for so long!
We kicked off the month of February at York Springs Global Methodist Church. Our church, along with several other local churches, have done a lot of community worship events with York Springs Global, so it was nice to be able to connect with and get to know this congregation.
Being that the church is located in the town where my dad grew up, I got to meet many people who went to school with my dad and had fun memories to share with me about my amazing grandparents who passed away several years ago.
February Goals
As we have shared, we cannot plan to go to Thailand until we have reached 100% of our budget. (See Post: Why Do Missionaries Raise Support)
We have a one-time amount that must be met, as well as monthly commitments. We are so blessed by those of you who have already said yes to partnering with us on a monthly basis or given a one-time gift. Thank you!
We have a goal to increase our monthly support by $500. For those who have not yet partnered with us — or maybe you gave one time but would like to consider giving on a monthly basis — here are some amounts and the number of people it would take to reach our $500 goal for February. Consider a 3-year commitment at any of these amounts:
- 10 people giving $10 a month — before you think this isn't helpful... $10 goes a long way in Thailand. From past experience, this would have filled up our motorbike gas tank at least 4 times! It also would have covered our monthly water bill (granted, our water did get shut off frequently in our village 🙂).
- 5 people giving $20 a month
- 4 people giving $25 a month
- 2 people giving $50 a month
- 1 person giving $100 a month
Thank you for considering financially helping us as we share God's word with the people of Thailand!
