Itineration⛪
Over the last few months we have had the wonderful privilege of getting to know some new church families. We traveled to Bethlehem, PA for a Missions Banquet with Central Assembly of God and felt like we were in Heaven; fellowshipping and worshiping with believers from all over the world.
The Lord has literally brought the nations to that church — from Puerto Rico, Cuba, Ghana, Jamaica, Italy, Egypt, Philippines, and more! It was beautiful and fun to be a part of that banquet and get to share Pope's testimony.
Gettysburg, PA
We also had the joy of getting to know a local church family in Gettysburg at Heritage Assembly. We lovingly call it "Josiah's Church" because it is where one of the librarians from our local library attends church (and his family is a key part of the leadership), and this was so exciting for our kids. Pope and I found our time there to be so encouraging.
Itineration has become such an incredible opportunity to visit with other churches, to listen to other pastors share some of their stories and glean from their wisdom, to see the way God is working in each church family, to experience different styles of worship, and get to build friendship within the greater body of Christ.
Prayer Requests 🙏🏼
Please pray with us for more open doors to share at churches and for the Lord to continue to build our support team. We have a very long ways to go yet in raising 100% of our monthly support, and a little over a year left to do so. If you think your church may be interested in connecting with us or you are feeling led to join us in monthly support, please reach out or click the "Give Now" button below.
Next Stop…Springfield, MO!
On June 4 our family will depart for Springfield, MO for a required 2-week training with Assemblies of God World Missions. During the time Pope and I were processing through and deciding on a sending organization (or if we would go independent), our church had a family serving in Cambodia come to share.
As I listened to this mom of 6 share about the friendships and connections their kids made through AGWM's organization, I knew this was what we wanted for our family & kids. I believe I emailed Mark Durene the very next day and began the process of applying to go with AGWM.
In June, all 6 of us will gather with missionaries from all over the US preparing to go all over the world for training, encouragement, & fellowship. We would appreciate the prayers for safe travels as we make the 2-day trip to Missouri June 4-5 and then return June 20-21.
